On the sidelines of Digital Almaty-2024, Bagdat Mussin, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry, spoke about the great interest of other countries in domestic digital solutions. This is evidenced by the participation of about 70 experts from foreign countries in the panel discussions, including ministers of digitalization.
«The Republic of Kazakhstan ranks 28th in the world in e-government and 8th in online services. This is evidenced by the fact that representatives of several other countries come here, specifically to IT forums, to find out how we are moving and what new solutions we are producing to improve the environment of interaction between the state and business, as well as between the state and our citizens,» — said Bagdat Mussin.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Development noted that Kazakhstan ranks 8th in the world in the development of online services. By the end of 2023, 50 million services were provided online, and citizens will be able to receive 92% of services without leaving their homes. Today, the government is faced with the task of introducing digital technologies into the industrial sector.
At the same time, the vice ministers of defense, health, science, and higher education, as well as labor and social protection, shared the achievements of the automation of services in the public sector.
Today, without leaving their homes, Kazakhstanis can apply to university, get an educational deferment from the army, find a job, make an appointment at a clinic, register for real estate, apply for a digital mortgage, etc.
